If you enjoy riding ATV, dirt bikes, or off road vehicles then you will love this area. Plenty of private land and trails of all kinds of diversity. Some other local Okeechobee area attractions include the famous Thunder Cross Motor Park and L-Cross. And if your into getting down and dirty then check out Mud fest in February. All are located in or around Okeechobee County.
Thunder Cross is a 1/4 mile dirt oval tract that you can enjoy riding or just sit back and watch everyone else ride.
Mud fest is were all the BIG boys love to come out and play, slinging mud but for some they just roll over in the mud or get stuck.
Both Thunder Cross and the Mud fest are both located on State Road 70 heading east towards Ft. Pierce from downtown Okeechobee.
