Welcome,

I created this site to share a very unique area known as the Viking Estates (also known as The Florida Prairie).

I have personally owned and enjoyed land here on the The Florida Prairie Estates for the last 20 years.

This has been my best investment and has kept my balance with mother nature and brought my family closer together.

I am available personally to help show you the properties and to help explain the many benefits of owning land in Okeechobee County on The Florida Prairie.

The branches intertwine creating a beautiful canopy with wild orchids and spanish moss.

Private daily, weekly and monthly boarding available (rates are negotiable).

HORSE RIDING

Local trail riding available.

Daily guided trail rides available for the less experienced riders.

Directions

To visit the Prairie Via I-95 (from Fort Pierce)

From exit 95 in Fort Pierce on 68 West (also know as Orange Ave). Go West all the way to 441 (approximately 45 miles)

Take a right heading North on 441 (approximately 1 mile)

Take first left on 721 (also known as Eagle Island Road) there is also a Brown Kissimee Prairie State Park sign.

Go West on 721 all the way to the very end (approximately 11 miles).

You will come to a stop sign, continue West thru the stop sign (approximately 1 mile the road turns right to the North)

You are now entering THE VIKING ESTATES (private property sign on the left). (set your odometer to 0) continue exactly one mile North on your left will be a shell rock road, known as the "1 mile road / 256th Street".

Go left on 1 mile Road / 256th Street, take your second left (approximately 1 mile ) then take your second right.
